Who I Am:

Mae Fair is a student of Life and Love, honoring the Divine through her laughter and play. Bringing sacred play into a world where we often believe that we must suffer to be enlightened and achieve our desires. Mae believes that suffering is optional and that we often choose to suffer because we don’t know that we truly have a choice in the matter and that there are other options but that laughing your way through trials can be just as effective.

As a child of recovery, Mae was introduced to many of life’s lessons early on and continues to be supported by Spirit to work with the lessons she found there. Becoming a “long distance” member of the Laughing Winds Community from it’s birth, she has supported sharing the eclectic lessons we’ve all found along our paths with others. Working under Jeremy Pajer, Sundoor Advanced Firewalk Instructor, for three years then going out to study with Peggy Dylan, creator of Sundoor and Master Firewalker, Mae is now an Advanced Firewalk Instructor herself. Mae has devoted herself to Spirit and being of service to the Divine. In that dedication she brings her passions, a history and understanding of recovery and addictions, knowledge of equestrian works, artistic therapies, glass walking, and firewalking to all people from all walks of life hoping to pass on that spark and love.

“I joke with my mother that I’m just an old hippie who overdosed and died young and when I arrived in the spirit world, Spirit looked and me and said, ‘That’s it! Rehab! Now!’ and I choose this life as my recovery center. Which is why I’ve been around 12-step programs since I was three weeks old and I was blessed with an LCSW for a mother. I truly think I’ve been blessed to have such a beautiful, spiritual life of recovery.”
